Ridley Scott set to return to Iceland with new film

Director Ridley Scott is set to direct a feature film based on the video game Halo, reports Vísir.is. Shooting will start next week in Iceland and Ireland.

The film is produced by Scott’s production company, Scott Free Productions, and is due out by the end of the year. Scott filmed the science fiction film Prometheus, starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Idris Elba and Guy Pearce, in Iceland in 2011.
